About Me - a Life Casting Artist

Two women holding a plaster belly cast of a pregnant belly.

My background

Hello, I'm Gloria, I have been a life casting artist for 31 years (formally Maternity Keepsake) creating memorable sculptures for local families since 1995.  I am known world-wide for my unique belly cast finish and décor ideas!

  • I use medical grade casting products and products made from seaweed.
  • I use my own preservatives for my unique belly cast finish (not plaster, it's too weak).
  • If you have any questions, feel free to message me here, I'm always available to chat!

My experience

I started belly casting in 1995 and I'm still creating memorable

sculptures for many local families.

  • Belly casts are best performed between 34-38 weeks.
  • The belly casting process only takes 20 minutes and 2 weeks to complete.
  • Belly casts can be preserved to last for generations & decorated to complement your home décor or your baby's nursery.

Decorative sign spelling LOVE with baby hand and feet models.

My vision

Baby castings are so adorable!

  • Baby hands and feet castings are best performed between               2-8 weeks.
  • Castings are quick and easy and two weeks to complete.
  • Mounting plaques are available for an addition charge.
  • I no longer cast babies over 5 months.  They can be very active during the casting process which most times distorts the molds.
